Setting Audience-Based Visibility
Once your course is completed or once enrollment is closed, you do not want your course to show up in the Course Search Function of the learning portal. The key is to change the "Audience-based visibility" within the course settings.
Changing audience-based visibility helps users by only showing current courses when they search. It will not impact those already enrolled - whether as Editing Trainers, Trainers or Learners. It will hide it from all other users. The course will still show up in the existing students' completion records and the student certificates will still be available if you created certificates.
To Set Audience-based visibility:
- Navigate to the course
- Under Administration Block click on "Course Administration"
- Click "Edit Settings"
- Scroll down and click "Audience-based visibility"
- Then select "Enrolled users only"
- Scroll Down and click "Save and Display"
